The Drassanes-Vall d’Hebron Center for International Health and Communicable Diseases is a specialized center for infectious diseases. They provide specialized care to patients affected by certain communicable diseases, diseases related to international travel and at risk of suffering from them.
The main objective of the Center is to detect and treat infectious diseases. That is why they have a set of resources for raising awareness, information on different diseases, prevention ..., which can be found on the eSPICTools website (https://espictools.cat/).
They also carry out surveys in different territories of Catalonia with the aim of detecting and treating these infectious diseases. These surveys consist of a set of paper forms made by health workers.
The Center has contacted the inLab FIB in order to carry out a pilot that will allow them to digitize the surveys they now do with paper, see the results in a graphic and understandable way as well as be able to geolocate where they have been. carried out the various surveys and actions.
