e-Ruc: Application module of the integrated research project
Description
Development of a distributed application for sharing of audiovisual content, which integrates advanced services modules, developed by several research groups.
In this project P2P file sharing techniques based on the JXTA protocol were used. Through web services and SOAP authentication services transcoding, management of rights, etc.. were also integrated at a time when web services technology was emerging.
