Control As A Service - CAAS

The objective of this project is to provide counseling, technical support and quality control regarding the logical security architecture developed by Grupo SPEC, a leading company in presence control solutions, productivity manage and access control, in the framework of the project CaaS (Control as a Service) funded by the government's R&D program Avanza 2.

CaaS intends to provide SPEC with an innovative technological solution at a market level, based on web services and cloud computing, in order to be able to offer flexible, scalable and low-cost services to companies in need of staff presence control, productivity management and time assignation to activities and projects taking place either in or outside the company premises.

The work to be carried out by inLab FIB along with esCERT will lie in advising SPEC's technical team on computer security focusing on the development of project CaaS in order to help them find possible improvements in the proposed logical architecture and identify risks.
