The inLab FIB has once again been accredited as a TECNIO center through ACCIÓ. This accreditation lasts until the end of 2023.
The TECNIO accreditation is a seal granted by the Generalitat de Catalunya through ACCIÓ. TECNIO brings together the best technology centers and research centers of Catalan universities. The aim of the accreditation is to promote technology transfer in Catalonia and to be able to identify Catalan entities that offer technology to companies to make them more competitive and innovative.
TECNIO allows Catalan companies and SMEs to have access to new technologies to solve problems and technological needs that may arise if they want to improve or create services, products, processes, etc., also allows to participate in international R&D and innovation programs .
In summary, TECNIO offers companies:
- Access to differential R&D capabilities. Technologies and knowledge that are not on the market and that, therefore, are key factors in improving the competitive position of the company.
- It responds to the technological needs of the company to help develop new products and services.
- Facilitates access to new partners or technology providers.
- It promotes the international projection of the company thanks to the participation in international programs of support to the R&D.
