IMPD and the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB) have the Special Public Transport Service, a complementary service to regular public transport and aimed at People with Reduced Mobility (PMR). This service is managed by IMPD, AMB and AMB information (CETRAMSA).
This service can be requested by the PMRs that have a white card, and to obtain the whit card you have to be a resident in Barcelona with a disability certificate with a reduced mobility scale recognized and registered to IMPD.
The Municipal Special Transport Service of Barcelona is composed of two types of services that support different needs of users.
The services are provided with minibuses and taxis, which can be adapted or not depending on the needs of the users. This benefit covers the territorial area of Barcelona, Badalona, Esplugues de Llobregat, Sant Adrià del Besós and Santa Coloma de Gramanet.
